    Terms of Service

    These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ProofForge platform operated by PrintForgeApps ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using ProofForge, you agree to these Terms.

    1. Eligibility

    You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using ProofForge, you represent that you meet these requirements.

    2. Account Registration

    • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
    • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
    • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

    3. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
    • Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory or obscene content
    • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
    • Use the platform for spam, phishing or other malicious purposes
    • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the platform
    • Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse platform resources

    4. Your Content

    You retain ownership of all files and content you upload to ProofForge. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it as necessary to operate the platform (e.g., generating proof previews, delivering files to your clients).

    You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share the content you add to the platform.

    5. Client Proof Sharing

    When you share a proof with a client, you authorise us to make the proof content accessible to the recipient via a secure link. Client responses (approvals, change requests, annotations) are stored and associated with your job.

    6. Subscriptions & Payment

    • ProofForge operates on a subscription model billed monthly in AUD
    • Payment is processed securely by Stripe
    • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
    • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
    • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
    • Refunds are provided at our discretion

    7. Free Trial

    We may offer a free trial period. Payment details are required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the platform.

    8. Team Accounts

    Team owners are responsible for their team members' use of the platform. Additional team seats are billed per member per month. Team owners can invite, remove and manage member access.

    9. Service Availability

    We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss caused by factors beyond our control.

    10. Intellectual Property

    All rights in the ProofForge platform (design, code, branding, features) are owned by PrintForgeApps. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the platform as intended.

    11. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

    • ProofForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
    • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages
    • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
    • We are not liable for print quality, colour accuracy, or any issues arising from approved artwork — proof approval is between you and your client

    12. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PrintForgeApps from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

    13. Termination

    • You may close your account at any time by contacting us
    • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
    • Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy

    14. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia.

    15. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
